The two bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable and both supplied with clean linen.	The kitchen is fully equipped and comes complete with oven, hob, microwave, grill and fridge.
The living area at Casa Carlino has comfortable seating for 6 people. There is a TV with Sky and DVD/CD player for entertainment.
The shower room/WC comes supplied with towels.

Everything you need is there, tables, chairs and BBQ, for the perfect "al fresco" experience. All topped off with the fantastic view of the Bay of Naples. Situated in the hills of Sorrento, Metrano is a small, relaxed, peaceful village, yet has suprising variety with shops and restaurants. But best of all it is a great centre-point for exploring all parts of the Sorrento Peninsular and Amalfi coast. Sorrento is the obvious choice, but also places to see include Vico Equense, Massa Lubrense, Ravello and Positano.

The amazing beauty of the area has attracted people from all over the world for centuries. Getting to these places is easy, either by car (renting a car is highly recommended) or via the regular and reliable bus services.

If you fancy speading your wings and exploring a larger area, then you are really spoilt for choice. Take a ferry to the famous Island of Capri, once home to the infamous Emperor Tiberius. Visiting the famous Blue Grotto is a must, but Capri has many other attractions as well as a very rich history. Regular ferries also go to the largest coast island - Ischia.

Of course, no holiday to this part of the world would be complete if you didn't visit the ruins of Pompeii and Hurculaneum. These were the holiday destinations for the roman people two thousand years ago. Unfortunately both towns were destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. After major excavations Pompeii has revealed startling discovories and is a great insight into what life was like for people then.

Vesuvius itself is still active and the National park is worth a visit. Also a trip to Naples is definitely a must. Of course whatever you do on your holiday is entirely up to you, but with your base at Casa Carlino the world, or at least Italy, is your oyster.
